AVOID Chronoexpert at All Costs.

They sure are fast to reply before you hand over your cash. But once that’s done, good luck getting in touch! I’ve been trying to reach them for nearly two months now. I’ve called, emailed, and even messaged them on WhatsApp.

This place is a total scam, steer clear of them! I placed an order for a watch worth 11,000 EUR from David Martin, who seemed super responsive at first. But now? It's been nothing but crickets. I've tried reaching out via email, WhatsApp, and even gave them a call, but no luck. I'm now considering involving the police and I'm hell-bent on getting my money back!

Things went from good to bad, and now it’s a wait-and-see situation. You’ve probably seen the glowing five-star reviews and skipped over the mediocre ones, so let me share the not-so-great experience.

I placed an order for a limited edition watch that’s hard to find in stores, which is why I turned to Chronoexpert. After some nice chats with the sales manager, I made the payment.

Chronoexpert doesn’t actually have the watches listed on their site but claims to have 'access' to them. Unfortunately, they couldn’t locate the watch I ordered. After two weeks of mostly unanswered emails, I finally got a message saying something went wrong and that I’d be getting a refund. They were nice enough to apologize.

I’m still waiting for that refund, but I’m hopeful it’ll come through soon...

It feels a bit like playing roulette—put your money down and hope for the best. In a way, I feel like I’ve lent money to Chronoexpert and wasted my time, nerves, and trust in this market.

Update: Chronoexpert has now been reported to EUROPOL. I’m in touch with a very helpful sales manager. The issue seems to stem from their administration and a lack of customer care.

Update 9.9.2022: I finally got my refund, thanks to the dedicated sales manager. Chronoexpert really needs to step up their service.

They never got back to me on my WhatsApp question. Total waste of time.

I wouldn't feel comfortable making a big purchase with these folks.

I ordered a new watch, and they said it would show up in a week. It actually took 4 weeks to arrive, and I kept reaching out to find out what was going on, but got no clear answers. The watch showed up without any plastic wrap and had scratches on both the case and the metal bracelet. I didn’t receive any further explanations, and when I asked for a discount, they told me that wasn’t an option. Honestly, I had a really bad experience and wouldn’t recommend them. They are just so superficial!

Got quick replies via email, timely shipping, and I was kept in the loop the whole time.

I was told that the watch I wanted to buy on their site was not just in stock but also located in the UK. So, I went ahead and paid the full amount on April 5th, and I got a confirmation for both the reservation and payment. I was really looking forward to getting it.
To cut to the chase, the watch wasn’t available like they claimed. I got a bunch of excuses about why my order was delayed. Trying to communicate with them was a nightmare, and they ignored my emails asking for a full refund.
After waiting a week for them to reply to my last email and two weeks for my £4600 to be returned, I finally got my money back on the 14th day, May 27th. That’s over seven weeks after I placed my order!

This seller can be trusted. They were super quick to respond and really friendly too. The delivery took a bit longer than expected, but apart from that, everything was awesome.

I had my eye on a certain watch that was located for me. It took a little while, but it’s finally here, and I couldn’t be happier.
